COVID-19: update from my perspective (again)

Hello! It's been hectic for a while, and now there's news that Jakarta will applied PSBB again starting this monday, Sept 14 2020. The governor took this step as emergency brake since the graphic has been showing increasing cases of Covid-19 and the ICU was almost full in the Covid-19 referal hospital. During the past few weeks, I have seen people not wearing masks in the street, talking to each other closely, not keeping distances as recommended by WHO. Even some dont believe Covid-19 is real; they keep thinking it's a conspiration theory for the medics to earn more money. I was amazed and couldnt respond more to those hoax spreading in the community because they dont even want to listen and  understand when you explain to them. It's been tiring weeks for the medics; every time Im on my shift in the hospital more and more people are coming with suspect or probable covid, even with confirmed covid. Some of them have no symptoms at all which are more dangerous because they are not aware of their illness; others come with dyspnea followed by another comorbid. Wearing hazmat is always tiring for us, since we stay in hours with all the cover ups and even sweat a lot. Hopefully this pandemic will end soon and we can say goodbye to this virus with a happy ending. Stay safe and healthy. Keep your distance minimal 1m from each other. Wash your hands with soap frequently. Sincerely, your health professional who hopes to wear her white coat again without hazmat.
